The Ohio State football team has a big one on Saturday when it hits the road to take on fellow Midwest college football power Notre Dame.
In some ways, these two programs have paralleled each other without intersecting a whole bunch. They have met just eight times. Make no mistake though, both programs are aware of what the other is doing annually.

OSU head coach Ryan Day knows the implications of this matchup and the challenges the Irish pose. He met with the media in Columbus during his weekly press conference to touch on that.
