Ohio State used a second-half surge to beat Rutgers on the road and remain unbeaten at 9-0 after struggling on offense in the first half. It was another game in which the offense took time to figure things out and had to rely on the defense to keep things in check.
Head coach Ryan Day was happy with the win and didn’t feel the need to apologize for winning a very physical game on the road in the Big Ten when he met with the media for his postgame press conference after the contest.
Thanks to the WBNS 10TV YouTube channel, we’re bringing Day’s entire postgame comments to you to get a little perspective from the guy wearing the headset. Day discussed the defense’s performance, touched on some injuries, gave credit to Rutgers and more.
