Ryan Day and the Ohio State football staff have been tearing it up on the recruiting trail through the month of June. The Buckeyes have added several key commitments to the 2025 class and are looking to continue the hot streak.
It seems that more good news could be on the horizon as Ohio State has been given six crystal ball predictions to land four-star defensive lineman, Maxwell Roy. Once thought to be a Michigan lean, Roy left an official visit to Ann Arbor this past weekend and the predictions started coming in for the Bucks. One of the crystal ball predictions even comes from Wolverine insider, Sam Webb. It’s anyone’s guess what changed but Roy would be another strong addition to an already historic class.
Roy is listed as the No. 25 ranked defensive lineman according to 247Sports composite rankings, although 247Sports itself has him ranked higher at No. 19.

Roy hails from Philadelphia where he attends St. Joseph’s Prep, the same school that produced Marvin Harrison Jr. and Kyle McCord. Getting Roy would be another huge win on the recruiting trail and over rival Michigan.
