Ohio State football vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish CFP Championship Game: 3 and out halftime observations

Ohio State football is only 30 minutes away from winning the College Football Playoff national championship over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Buckeyes look amazing. OSU currently head into halftime with a 21-7 lead over Notre Dame and are set to receive the ball in the second half.

Ohio State only had three possessions in the first half but scored a touchdown on all three to put the Fighting Irish behind the eight-ball.

There isn’t much to complain about in regard to Ohio State in the first half other than the first Fighting Irish drive, which was a long slow march down the throat of the defensive line, but that should have been expected. Notre Dame is a good team and expecting a shutout is a bit extreme.
