It’s been a long off-season for the Ohio State football team and its fans. What seemed like a promising 2023 ended with two heartbreaking losses and left Buckeye Nation wondering if the two decades of dominance in the Big Ten were over and if Ryan Day was the guy to get the job done. Those questions and more may still remain. But one of the oldest sayings in sports goes “There’s always next year.” And next year is now.
With the return of a core group of seniors and some talented transfers, Ohio State is ready to try and conquer the mountain that is college football. It’ll be more difficult now than ever with the expansion of a 12-team playoff but this team seems built for the challenge.
