Ohio State football star Marvin Harrison Jr. partners with “The Rock” in NIL deal

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is getting into the name, image and likeness licensing game and one of his stars is Ohio State football receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

In an announcement made on Wednesday, Johnson teamed up with seven athletes across different sports to create “The Rock’s Warriors,” who will promote his energy drink, ZOA Energy.

Harrison Jr. was among a group of football stars which include Miami’s Kamren Kitchens, North Carolina’s Drake Maye, Georgia’s Brock Bowers, along with LSU women’s basketball stars, Angel Reese and Northwestern State’s Hansel Enmanue. Florida A&M softball player Amaya Gainer rounded out the crew. The seven make up the initial group of athletes representing the brand. Many of these collegiate stars are household names, so it makes plenty of sense for their inclusion.

Harrison Jr. is a huge commodity in business because he’s one of the biggest stars in the college football game. Getting a chance to team up with “The Rock” is a big deal, as Johnson is one of the most recognizable people in the world.
