It is no secret that expectations are high for the 2024 Ohio State football team and if you couldn’t tell by the transfer class, players coming back or betting odds, maybe this most recent news will make it clear for you. Recent reports indicate that there have been 56,998 season tickets sold and that does not include student tickets.
This is the highest amount of season tickets sold in at least 15 years and it makes sense considering how good this team is projected to be. The previous record was 56,484 season tickets sold in 2022. Last season 55,233 season tickets were sold, but it should be noted that the schedule this season features eight home games, which matches the slate in 2022 as well. Last season the Buckeyes only played at home six times.

This could play a factor in the uptick in sales, but since the price increased by approximately $200 I would guess it has more to do with excitement.
