Heading into today, Buckeye Nation was looking for a dominant victory to build some momentum with a road matchup coming up against Notre Dame and that’s exactly what they got as Ohio State was dominant on both sides of the ball in the 63-10 win over Western Kentucky.
After two underwhelming offensive performances, the Buckeyes came out on fire putting up 42 points in the first half.

The defense which had stellar performances in the first two weeks faced their first test this season going up against a Western Kentucky offense that scored 93 points in their first two games and they passed with flying colors.
Western Kentucky was able to move the ball on its first three drives of the game but couldn’t get anything going for the rest of the game after the Buckeyes made adjustments.
The unit also forced four turnovers including two going for defensive touchdowns with Tyleik Williams falling on a fumble forced by Denzel Burke in the endzone and true freshman corner Jermaine Mathews Jr. picking off a third down pass for a touchdown.
Next week the Buckeyes will have their biggest non-conference game of the season as they go into South Bend to take on Notre Dame in highly anticipated matchup.
