The broken record is back, Ohio State’s need for defensive commits in the 2024 class can not be understated.
Of the thirteen current commits of the class, just two of them are on defense and neither of them will play the line. Enter Canadian native Sean Sevillano Jr., who decided to prep at Florida’s Clearwater Academy International to get more eyes on him.
Mission accomplished, as the 6-foot, 2-inch and 300 pound defensive tackle has set his commitment date, Thursday, June 2nd. The 87th lineman and 913th overall player according to the 247Sports composite, will choose from a list of four schools: Notre Dame, Auburn, Miami and the Buckeyes.

Currently, the crystal balls don’t favor Ohio State, they point to the Irish. They could be wrong but for now, it doesn’t look like a boom is coming on Thursday.
