The Big Ten, Ohio State, and Nebraska have agreed on a reschedule date for the contest that got postponed on January 22 because of COVID-19 precautions. The game will now take place on March 1 and be televised by the Big Ten Network at 7 p.m. EST according to a release from the Ohio State Dept. of Athletics on Tuesday.
The Buckeyes and Cornhuskers have already played once this season, an 87-79 overtime victory for OSU in Lincoln back on January 2. Just like the original return trip to Columbus, this one too will also take place at the Schottenstein Center.
Ohio State currently sits within reach of the top of the league and getting a couple of home games that got postponed against Big Ten teams could be huge in a run towards a regular-season conference title. There has not been a date confirmed for the re-schedule of the one canceled vs. Iowa because of inclement weather.
