Ohio State attempting to flip Florida commit, offers running back a scholarship

Ohio State has had plenty of success recruiting the state of Florida and this morning they showed that they are trying to flip a Gator commit.

Class of 2024 running back Chauncey Bowens, who has been a Florida verbal commit since the middle of September of last year, tweeted out that he has received an offer from the Buckeyes.

Bowens stands 5-foot, 11-inches and weighs 220 pounds, and is a 4-star according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He is the 23rd overall running back and the 292nd player nationally.

Even though it may seem like his ranking is low, his offer list is impressive, as Bowens holds them from Georgia, Alabama, and now Ohio State.

Bowen is also a track star, and we will see how far this offer goes in the Buckeyes’ attempt to flip the Florida commit.
