It’s the pinnacle of any sport, at least on an individual basis. Nothing can really top being inducted into a Hall of Fame.
Such is the case at Ohio State. Every year, the OSU athletic department inducts several former student-athletes into the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame, and it’s no different in 2021.
Headlining this year’s class is former Ohio State basketball player, Aaron Craft, but there are 14 others that will also be honored this fall. The group will be officially inducted during a dinner September 9 in the Covelli Center and introduced at Ohio Stadium when the Buckeye football team hosts Arkansas State September 10.
There are currently 458 members of the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame since its inception back in 1977. The fifteen members that will add to that class are the following according to a release from OSU.

- Greg Bice (men’s lacrosse)
- John Bluem (men’s soccer coach)
- Charles W. Bolen (football/men’s basketball)
- Joel Brown (men’s track)
- Aaron Craft (men’s basketball)
- Adam Crompton (men’s fencing)
- Jenna Harris Griffin (women’s track)
- Alayna Markwordt (women’s lacrosse)
- Russ Nagelson (baseball)
- Shawn Springs (football)
- Logan Stieber (wrestling)
- Jonathan Sweet (baseball)
- Tom Tupa (football)
- Dan Whitacre (wrestling)
