Ohio State has lost a commitment from 4-star 2023 quarterback commit Brock Glenn.
Out of Memphis, Tennessee, Glenn committed to the Buckeyes in late July of this year. He pledged himself to Ohio State not long after he was offered a scholarship and seemed to jump at the chance to be a part of the development track record of Ryan Day and the program at the position.
With the decommitment, Ohio State is now down to 19 players in the 2023 recruiting cycle after other defections that took place prior. Glenn quickly pivoted and announced a commitment to Florida State.
The news leaves the Buckeyes without a quarterback in the 2023 class, but this development doesn’t appear to be one that OSU is too upset about. Glenn has not performed well as of late and the Ohio State staff had already begun to look at other options in the class. That will continue with more urgency now.

Ohio State would appear to already be in good shape anyone for at least the next two to three years with former 5-stars Kyle McCord and Devin Brown waiting in the wings, and with another 5-star and current No. 1 overall recruit according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Dylan Raiola, already verbally committed for 2024.
