Ohio State is on fire on the recruiting trail, and two commitments Saturday (Max LeBlanc and Sam Williams-Dixon) kept stoking the flames. The Buckeyes are looking to keep that momentum going, and another five-star is in their sights.
Florida cornerback Charles Lester III is that target. The 6-foot, 2-inch and 180-pound star has a scholarship offer from every major power in the country. The battle for his commitment is intense and Ohio State is in the thick of it.
Buy Buckeyes TicketsOn Sunday, Lester III told On3 he is considering four schools: Alabama, Georgia, Florida State and Ohio State. It’s an extremely impressive list for the third-ranked cornerback and 18th overall prospect according to the 247Sports composite, which makes him a five-star recruit.

Lester III visited Columbus this month and visited Georgia and Florida State recently. It will be a tough pull for the Buckeyes to go into the South and bring the five-star north.
