Ohio Sen. JD Vance and his wife were seen departing from their home in Cincinnati on Monday morning around 10 a.m. ET. They were observed getting into one of the black SUVs that were part of a three-car motorcade escorted by Cincinnati police.
The departure of Sen. Vance and his wife has sparked speculation that he may be selected as former President Donald Trump's running mate at the upcoming Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Other potential vice presidential picks for Trump, including Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, are already in Milwaukee for the convention. Both Rubio and Burgum are scheduled to address the convention later this week.
