Celtic are reportedly looking to extend their potential pre-season tour of Japan to include South Korea - with a homecoming for a number of Parkhead stars could still be on the cards
Ange Postecoglou could to return to the country where he enjoyed success with Yokohama F Marinos at the end of the current campaign, with reports suggesting the Scottish Premiership champions-elect lined up to face off against the likes of European heavyweights Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich in Japan. The tour will seen five Japanese players return to their homeland this summer with internationals Daizen Maeda and Kyogo Furuhashi presenting a box office attraction, while Yuki Kobayashi, Reo Hatate and Tomoki Iwata will also attract a bumper audience. A rethink appears to be on the cards with a South Korea leg potentially being added the the tip given the rising profile of striker Hyeongyu Oh.
Orlowitz tweeted: "So whatever Celtic were originally going to announce today isn’t happening for Reasons, but I’ve got this pretty much confirmed" before posting a cross next "Japan tour" and a Japanese flag. He then posted a circle with the words "Asia tour" alongside a Japanese flag and a South Korean flag.
