The Arizona Cardinals trailed the Detroit Lions 20-10 at halftime, but the end of the half should have gone so much differently. The officials robbed the Cardinals of what should have been a defensive touchdown, giving them a 14-13 lead.
Safety Jalen Thompson blitzed off the edge, hit Jared Goff, forcing either a fumble or an errant throw. The ball landed in linebacker Mack Wilson’s arms and he was en route to the end zone for a touchdown.
However, the play was ruled dead. The officials said the ball was not snapped before the two-minute warning.
To everyone watching, that was not the case. Here is what was seen on TV:

The ball was snapped at 2:01.
No play, no turnover, no touchdown.
Four plays later, Goff had a 21-yard touchdown pass, a nifty one-yard pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown, who then lateraled the ball to Jahmyr Gibbs, who then ran the rest of the 20 yards for the score.
As a result, the Lions took a 20-7 lead instead of the Cardinals having a 14-13 lead.
