TNT Sports commentator Rory Hamilton has revealed the UEFA explanation for the huge penalty decision in the match between Celtic and Bayern Munich.
A lengthy VAR check took place in the second half of the Champions League knockout play-off round tie after a challenge on Arne Engels in the box.
The midfielder had gone down after being tackled by Bayern Munich centre-back Dayot Upamecano.
The play had continued before referee Jesus Gil Manzano halted proceedings as VAR checked the incident.
The official was then called to the monitor by Carlos del Cerro Grande after it was confirmed Engels was onside before the tackle.

However, Manzano did not change his on-field decision with no penalty given.
Replays showed Upamecano had managed to touch the ball before standing on Engels' foot in the box.
Hamilton - leading commentary for TNT Sports - then revealed the official UEFA explanation for the call.
A message on the screen seen by the broadcaster had stated the defender played the ball in a "fair manner".
Hamilton stated: "The explanation for no penalty was that the Byaern No2 played the ball in a fair manner and therefore no penalty."
