Cops uncovered a large amount of Class A drugs after a driver abandoned a stolen car in Tameside. Police clocked the vehicle, which had been reported as stolen, driving through Hyde yesterday evening (June 20).
Officers tried to get the vehicle to stop, but the driver had other ideas. Having made off from police, the driver eventually abandoned the car and its occupants fled the scene.
After being searched, more than 100 bags of suspected heroin were found along with drugs believed to be crack cocaine. Greater Manchester Police says the car has now been recovered and will be reunited with its owner.
