This is the moment the first emergency responders arrived at the scene of an attempted murder in Ellesmere Port.
Cheshire Police rushed to Westminster Road at around 5.17pm on Thursday, July 14, following reports of an incident on King Street and Worcester Walk. Once at the scene officers found an 18-year-old with serious injuries after being attacked with weapons.
A video sent to The ECHO shows the first police car arriving on Worcester Road. The footage shows three police officers leaving a marked vehicle and running towards Worcester Walk.

One of the officers appears to be holding medical equipment as he sprints to the scene. Pictures sent to The ECHO show around a dozen police cars responded to the incident, which saw a large part of Worcester Road, Worcester Walk and King Street taped off.
An air ambulance landed in a nearby field along with multiple North West Ambulance Service vehicles. Officers confirmed they are treating the attack as an attempted murder as a man remains in hospital in a serious condition.
Reports suggest a group drove up to the victim in a small grey SUV-type vehicle, before jumping out and attacking him with weapons. Police have not yet released information on what type of weapons were used, however, witnesses told the ECHO "machetes" were used.
One eyewitness reported police were "everywhere" and a number of people ran over to help the man. A woman said: "There was police and emergency service vehicles everywhere at around 5pm, an air ambulance landed and everything. A lad was stabbed by somebody.
"It’s awful when things like this happen, I just hope he is okay. Loads of people ran over to help him, then police wanted everybody back inside while they looked around."
Another person living on King Street said they asked police how the man was, they said: "Police came and knocked at my door before, and I asked them if the lad was okay. They told me he had injuries but was still breathing. I was so glad.
"It’s getting worse around here, we have had three bad stabbings in the last year. People used to get into fights and sort thing out, now it’s like everyone is carrying a knife and sort things out that way instead. I don’t know what’s going on with people today."
Another witness said they saw officers walking within the cordon "looking around". The woman said: "I heard this buzzing noise in the air and it was getting closer and closer, then I looked out of my window and saw the air ambulance landing on the field.
"Police taped off the whole area and were not letting anybody go through the tape. They were looking around, I think for evidence. They were knocking on peoples doors asking if they had information of CCTV."
The cordon was lifted at around 9pm, with a heightened police presence being seen in the area.
