Manchester United's supporters experienced a feeling of the inevitable after former winger Daniel James brought Fulham level during Sunday's Premier League clash at Craven Cottage.
After taking a first half lead through Christian Eriksen's first goal for the club, United were pegged back just past the hour mark when James, fresh off the substitutes bench, brought the home side level. The Welshman, who spent two years at Old Trafford, tapped home Tom Cairney's low centre to make it 1-1.
James had only stepped off the bench two minutes earlier to replace fellow Welshman Harry Wilson, meaning he wasted no time in stamping his authority on the contest. It was his first goal for the Cottagers since signing on loan from Leeds United in the summer.
