Aaron Judge’s side-eye to something — was it, as he said, his teammates chirping at the ump or, as Will Middlebrooks thought, toward his first-base coach who saw a sign put down? — was the silliest of non-controversies, despite the fact that the Toronto Blue Jays broadcast wondered what was up with it.
Even though we should all move on, because Judge wasn’t cheating (especially if Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk didn’t hide his signs well enough).
