Ayrshire's biggest cinema is set to remain closed until at least the end of the week.
We told yesterday how the Odeon in Kilmarnock had shut its doors at the weekend after its heating system packed in.
Bosses were forced to admit that viewing would be "uncomfortable" for those taking in blockbusters at the Queen's Drive complex.
It's understood that the cinema has been closed since Saturday after customers complained about watching flicks in the cold.
The firm's website has been wiped of all screening times until this Friday at the earliest and a statement outside the cinema states that there is no timescale for reopening.
A statement outside the cinema reads: "Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, all performances scheduled for today have had to be cancelled.
"We currently have no functioning heating and as such it would be uncomfortable to view a performance in any of our auditoriums, given the current temperatures.
Odeon chiefs did not respond to request for comment from Ayrshire Live.
