Free agency started about a month and a half ago, yet Odell Beckham Jr. still somehow hasn’t been signed. A big reason for that is his knee injury, which he suffered in the Super Bowl and will likely delay his 2022 season debut with whatever team signs him.
The Rams have said publicly multiple times that they would like to bring him back, but perhaps not enough to meet the contract terms Beckham is looking for.
On Friday night, Beckham responded to a fan on Twitter who suggested that he sign his extension. He said he would “gladly sign an extension” if the Rams would send him a “real offer.”
Bihhhh u absolutely right it’s a number I’ve worn my entire life… and it’s just jokes reallllly just tryna do Cam to the world cause he stop textin me back when I talked bout buyin it!!! 😭😂😭😭 and lastly Gladly sign a extension!!!! Tell them send me a real offfer

Obviously, we don’t know what the Rams’ offer was or what Beckham is seeking in free agency, but the two sides aren’t on the same page financially. If Beckham continues to remain available, maybe he’ll come down to the Rams’ number, but he doesn’t seem motivated to do that now.
And quite frankly, he should try to get the most money he can after suffering the knee injury that he did in the biggest game of his life.
