Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. payed homage to Colorado’s Travis Hunter Jr. Sunday morning before his team’s game amid the young star’s stint in the hospital.
Before his team’s matchup against the Bengals, Beckham was seen rocking some Randy Moss cleats and a Travis Hunter shirt while warming up in Paycor Stadium. Hunter, one of the best players in college football, exited his team’s game against Colorado State on Saturday night and was taken to the hospital after taking a brutal hit.
The hit was the subject of some serious controversy as many called it dirty. Colorado State defensive back Henry Blackburn blindsided Hunter after the whistle was blown and was assessed a personal foul but was not ejected, leading to some debate online.

Hunter was clearly shaken up after the play but returned to the field before eventually being ruled out. It’s unclear what the nature of his injury is but after his team’s double overtime win, coach Deion Sanders told reporters the star wide receiver and cornerback will be out for “a few weeks.”
Beckham is undoubtedly rooting for the budding star to come back better than ever. Kick off against the Cincinnati is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
