Odell Beckham Jr responds to Von Miller's horror injury with subtle NFL free agency hint

Odell Beckham Jr furiously took to social media to call on the NFL to get rid of artificial turf after Buffalo Bills star Von Miller went down injured in the Thanksgiving Day clash against the Detroit Lions.

Miller fell down writhing in pain after colliding with Lions centre Frank Ragnow, when attempting to sack Jared Goff towards the end of the first half. The 33-year-old has established himself as a huge part of the Bills defence this season after arriving from the Rams, tallying eight sacks already this season.

Beckham is currently a free agent and is reportedly deciding between three teams as his next destination - the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and Bills. He has been heavily courted by the Cowboys recently, with owner Jerry Jones and a number of players calling for the receiver to join the iconic franchise.

However, as well as a potential homecoming with the Giants, Beckham has been linked with a move to Buffalo due to his relationship with friend Miller, as well as the fact that the Bills are contenders to win the Super Bowl. However, the Bills' home stadium has turf, which Beckham is clearly not a fan of.

When Miller went down, Beckham simply tweeted: "GET RID OF TURF." The Lions' stadium, Ford Field, is fitted with slit film turf - one of 14 stadiums around the NFL which have the artificial playing surface.

Beckham has had his own frustrations with turf before, tearing his ACL during Super Bowl LVI in what proved to be his final appearance with the Los Angeles Rams last season. He added: "God plz watch over @VonMiller !!! Place your hands over him Lord. I ask that it not be anything too serious. I love u brother prayin hard!"

Back in February when he was a member of the Rams, Beckham was well on his way to being MVP of the Super Bowl when he tore his ACL during the Rams’ win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The original hope was for the charismatic receiver to find a team in mid-November, but reports are now suggesting he will return to full health and sign with a franchise by December.

Several teams have expressed interest in the 30-year-old, including the Bills, the Rams and his former team, the Giants. Other suitors include the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

NFL insider Ian Rappoport revealed Beckham will choose his next NFL team soon after Thanksgiving. As for Miller, he is reportedly set to have an MRI on Friday to reveal the extent of the damage.
