Lamar Jackson and the Ravens officially agreed to terms on a deal on Thursday, ending the months-long standoff between the two sides. The quarterback signed a five-year, $260 million deal, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
One of Jackson’s first Ravens teammate to comment on his record contract was the quarterback’s new star wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr. It’s safe to assume that Beckham is excited to take the field with his new quarterback in 2023.

Beckham tweeted out the fingers crossed emoji along with the word “truzzzz,” which is in reference to Jackson’s popular phrase that he’s coined over the years.

Beckham signed a one-year, $18 million deal with the Ravens back on April 9, after the wide receiver spent the entire 2022 season as a free agent.
Speculation about Jackson’s return to Baltimore picked up the day after Beckham’s signing as the two new teammates were spotted at a nightclub, presumably celebrating the deal together.
