Matt Judon is finally seeing the fruits of his labor. The New England Patriots edge rusher has been recruiting aggressively on Twitter during free agency, but hasn’t seen any of his targets join his team.
But for the first time, he seems to at least have captured the attention of one free agent: receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
Judon tweeted at Beckham for a second time, and the receiver responded. Beckham felt like the Patriots needed to get Judon “a lil raise. I see u been recruiting.” Judon has had a discouraging run in his self-appointed role of Recruiting Director. But there’s still time left in free agency. Perhaps Judon will find a way to lure some of the remaining talents.
