Odell Beckham Jr. was released by the Browns after his relationship with the organization – and quarterback Baker Mayfield – began to sour. As a free agent, he was able to sign with whichever team would take him, and he chose the Los Angeles Rams.
Despite the Rams only offering him a one-year deal worth $1.25 million guaranteed, Beckham wanted to ride with L.A. And there’s no doubt that bet is paying off.
After the Rams beat the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, Beckham earned $750,000 in incentives for Los Angeles reaching the Super Bowl. That brings his postseason earnings to $2 million this year, with the opportunity to make another $1 million if the Rams win the Super Bowl.

Beckham knew he wasn’t getting much guaranteed money by signing with the Rams, but he also had a good feeling they were going to compete for a Super Bowl title. And with his contract being heavily incentive-based and tied to the Rams’ success as a team, he put his faith in Los Angeles.
Obviously, he’s earned every penny by helping the Rams get to this point, particularly with his nine catches for 113 yards on Sunday against the 49ers.
