Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller posted a picture on his Instagram page last week showing himself celebrating after sacking Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield in 2018.
Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was quick to come to Mayfield’s defense, commenting, “DONT YU EVER DISRESPECT MY QB 😂😂😂.” OBJ’s comment seemed to be made in good fun, as evidenced by his laughing crying emojis.
When Beckham was on the trade block earlier this offseason, his list of preferred destinations included the Broncos because of his friendship with Miller. So it’s safe to say the two players are on good terms.
And Mayfield didn’t seem bothered by the picture.
“Anddddd there’s sack 100…..,” Mayfield commented, a reference to Miller breaking Denver’s all-time sack record. Miller still needs two more regular season sacks to reach 100 in his career.
