Odds slashed on Harry Kane to Real Madrid transfer amid Karim Benzema to Saudi Arabia

Harry Kane's future at Tottenham continues to be uncertain with only a year remaining on his current contract. The 29-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from north London for some time and is expected to see some major offers come in for him over the summer.

The striker scored 30 Premier League goals this season but was unable to help Spurs finish in the European spots. In a lacklustre season for the club, Kane finished only six goals behind Manchester City's Erling Haaland.

Amid continued uncertainty over his future, there is no clear indication whether Kane will return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in August. Manchester United and Bayern Munich have all been linked, but Real Madrid are being heavily backed to sign the England captain now.

Following reports that Karim Benzema is close to securing a move to Saudi Arabia, the Spanish giants have had their odds slashed to move for Kane by Betfair. A move to Madrid is now backed at 4/1 from 16/1.

According to Betfair, 92 per cent of bets in the last 24 hours placed on their site regarding Kane's future have been put on Carlo Ancelotti's men. Los Blancos have been linked with a new striker this summer, with Liverpool's Roberto Firmino on their radar.

Should Benzema decide to end his time at the Santiago Bernabeu and join Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia, Real will be keen to replace him with a prolific goalscorer.

Man United continue to be the bookmakers' favourites to land Kane at 6/4. Red Devils boss Erik Ten Hag is targeting a striker to improve his attacking line and Kane has been touted as the perfect candidate.
