An Oasis-mad teenager has penned his own gesture of love to one of Greater Manchester's most famous bands by drawing his own merch.
Stanley Trussler, 12, made his own merch on one of his t-shirts after sitting down in his bedroom at the end of the summer holidays and drawing the band's logo freehand with a marker pen so he had something to wear to showcase his love for the band. Mum Ellie, 35, was surprised to discover the artwork, but was immidiately on board.
She shared a picture of the shirt onto a Facebook page dedicated to cleaning tips, asking for ways to clean the shirt up, and was astounded when she checked her phone during a break from her work at a printing firm to discover hundreds of comments left praising her son's creativity, and begging her not to wash the shirt.

She told the Manchester Evening News : "Stanley spends a lot of time listening to music, he was doing it all summer holiday, he loves Oasis, Frank Sinatra, he doesn't like anything recent. His dad likes Oasis so he's always listened to then since he was born and he's obsessed, he's got every album possible and comes out with all these facts like who's more popular, Oasis or the Beatles. I picked the shirt up and saw that and I didn't want to get rid of it, but wanted to know how to wash it without the pen running after he's sat down and done that.
"I posted it on the page and then went to work and checked it on a break time thinking some one might say hand wash around it or something but loads of people had commented. I love it as it is but I do need to wash it, I know what boys are like they stink but I guess I'll leave it now and frame it."
Stanley, who told the Manchester Evening News that the art only took 20 minutes to complete, was a bit miffed his mum wanted to frame his hard work instead of letting him wear it as planned. He added: "It was quite simple, I just got a sharpie and drew it based off the album cover, it took me 20 miutes. I did it just because I wanted something to wear. My dad listened to them and then kind of distanced from the band and then about a year ago I got back into them. My favourite album is Definitely Maybe, every song on it is a banger."
