Oasis issue statement amid 'last-minute surge' for pre-sale ballot

OASIS have issued a statement following a “last-minute surge in pre-sale ballot entries” for their UK tour.

It comes after the band announced a new date for Edinburgh following a surge in demand for tickets.

In a post on Twitter/X shortly after 11am, a statement said: “Due to a last minute surge in pre-sale ballot entries, a number of confirmation emails are still being processed and sent out.

“The deadline to confirm your entry has now been extended to 10am BST tomorrow morning (Friday August 30).

“If successful in the ballot, you will be contacted tomorrow by 5pm BST with pre-sale access information.

“Thank you for your patience.”

Oasis have already confirmed they will be playing at Murrayfield on August 8 and 9 while August 12 was added on Thursday morning.

Ticket prices for the Oasis Live 25 tour are expected to be announced on Thursday, before lucky fans are notified by email that they have secured the opportunity for getting pre-sale tickets.
