NVIDIA is taking your gaming experience to the next level with the revolutionary Reflex technology

Thankfully there are steps you can take to measure and reduce system latency and one of the best tools on the market for that is NVIDIA Reflex.

NVIDIA Reflex is a revolutionary set of GPU, G-SYNC display, and software technologies that come together to measure and (more importantly for gamers) reduce system latency and rendering lag, ensuring your computer will be as lightning-fast as your trigger finger. 

Impressively, Reflex can help reduce lag by 33%, even when used with mid-range cards, such as the GeForce GTX 1660 Super. But when you combine it with something with as much power as the GeForce RTX 40 Series, you'll be able to reduce latency by up to 58%, allowing you to game like someone ready for the major leagues.

Reflex isn't just for the professionals though, it's meant to improve everyone's gaming experience and is supported across all NVIDIA GPUs all the way back to 2014's GeForce GTX 900 Series products as well as peripherals from Logitech, Razer, and SteelSeries. Of course, the question is, how does this work? Well, basically, Reflex improves communication between the CPU and GPU. This enhances the rendering pipeline, ensuring the render queue doesn't put too much pressure on the CPU. As a result, you get lower latency at higher resolutions, and visuals are processed faster, giving players an edge over the competition. 

As impressive as that is, there are two other unique factors that make Reflex so special: NVIDIA's Reflex SDK and NVIDIA's Reflex Latency Analyzer. The Reflex SDK (software development kit) is a set of APIs for game developers that allow them to implement a low latency mode in their games more easily. This mode helps further enhance communication between the GPU and CPU, further improving overall responsiveness by vital milliseconds. 

Meanwhile, the Reflex Latency Analyzer is a system for measuring latency and is built into new 360 Hz G-SYNC Esports displays from ACER and Alienware. This tool allows you to detect your inputs and then measure the time it takes for your computer to respond. Using this, you can then tweak your PC's settings to further enhance performance. 

Of course, that's just the technical stuff. The important thing is that by using NVIDIA Reflex, you'll drastically reduce input latency and enhance your performance. It might sound silly, but if you've ever played CS2, you'll know that even a fraction of a second is the difference between a winning shot and a lost game. With Reflex, you'll see improved targeting times, be able to react quicker, and increased precision when you aim.
