Nurse forced to quit work over her OnlyFans account now making £50,000 a month

Mum-of-three Allie Rae has told how she quit her intensive job on an intensive care neonatal ward after her colleagues discovered her OnlyFans account.

Allie, who was working 14-hour days found solace in Instagram, where she began uploading photos of herself and racked up nearly 70,000 fans.

But she claims this landed her in hot water after colleagues at her hospital in Massachusetts, US, discovered the account.

The mum-of-three says six of her fellow nurses reported her to HR in September last year after finding her racy content.

Speaking to the Daily Beast about the incident, she dubbed it "Mean Girls for adults".

She was initially left off with a warning, as she did not use her real name or reveal her place of employment online.

But things got much worse in December when HR was handed evidence of her OnlyFans account.

She said: "It was like Mean Girls for adults.

“They got the director involved and it was, ‘You need to get rid of this account or we can’t have you working here.’"

Allie was given two options: delete her profile or leave.

Fed up of being hauled over hot coals and making a fortune through her side gig and fed up with how she was being treated, Allie quit her nursing now.

She said: "The stigma against people in the sex-work industry and OnlyFans ran a really good nurse out of the hospital.

“I didn’t even need the money—I was making more money on OnlyFans than I was as a nurse and was only doing it because I loved it—but once I became ‘the girl who does OnlyFans,’ it tore me apart.”

She now says she earns around £53,000 ($75,000) a month, surpassing her former yearly nurse's salary ($93,000) in just eight weeks.

Having worked through the pandemic, Allie says she also wanted to spend more time at home with her three children, aged 18, 17 and 12.

She’s now considering moving to Florida with her family, who she says fully support her new line of work.

Her two eldest children are aware and fine with her new job but she is yet to tell the 12-year-old.

Despite the prospect of a new house and enjoying a high income, Allie says she still misses nursing – but believes she is appreciated more as a model than she ever was in her old job.
