Nubia launches new gaming phone in the UK, packed with long battery life and plenty of storage

Chinese company Nubia has launched a new gaming phone in the UK. The Red Magic 9S Pro is powered by a huge 6,500 mAh dual-cell battery (80W wired charging support), ideal for long gaming sessions. 

The cheapest model comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and costs £580 in the UK, while the most expensive one sells for £710 and packs 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Available globally, Nubia’s new phone also features an advanced ICE 13.5 Cooling System that has a built-in 22,000 RPM Turbo Fan and cooling materials, so that it continues to perform smoothly after hours of gaming,

Nubia included a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1600 nits of brightness, and an ultra-fast 960Hz touch sampling rate.

In terms of optics, the phone features a triple camera setup (50MP + 50MP + 2MP) and a 16-megapixel selfie snapper, making it the perfect phone for photography buffs. 

The phone is also equipped with 3D sound effects with a 1.6cc large chamber and DTS Ultra Certification. 

Connectivity features include tri-band Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS GALILEO, and an IR Blaster. The phone features a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with support for DisplayPort and 80W wired charging. 

Nubia is a smartphone manufacturer headquartered in Shenzhen, China and was founded in 2015. The company has worked with celebrities such as Cristiano Ronaldo in 2016 to help promote their mobile phone.

Nubia’s gaming sub-brand, named Redmagic was launched in 2018, which became known for being the first smartphone brand to put cooling fans inside their phones.
