NTAs 2022: Full shortlist announced with Ant and Dec topping TV nominations

The National Television Awards shortlist has been revealed, celebrating all of our favourite telly from the past year. The ceremony will be held at the OVO Arena Wembley next month.

Hosted by Joel Dommett, the viewer-voted awards will take place on September 15th and audiences are able to cast their votes now. Results will be revealed in a live broadcast of the ceremony on ITV.

Geordie duo Ant and Dec are back with another nomination in the best presenter category alongside Alison Hammond, Graham Norton and Bradley Walsh. The pair have won the award every year since 2001, amassing quite the trophy cabinet.

They also face success in other categories with Britain's Got Talent in the running for the best talent show. I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and Saturday Night Takeaway are both nominated for The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award.

Away from Ant and Dec, Netflix projects join the lists. Heartstopper is up for best new drama while its stars, Joe Locke and Kit Connor, have been named as potential rising star recipients.

As well as receiving a nomination for Clarkson's Farm, Jeremy Clarkson's sidekick Kaleb Cooper joins the likes of Sir David Attenborough and Martin Lewis with a shoutout for his expert advice, guiding the Top Gear presenter through his first year of farming life in the Amazon Prime Video series.

Katie Price returned to Instagram after a lengthy break to announce the news that her son Harvey has been nominated. His documentary What Harvey Did Next has earned him a nod in the Authored Documentary category.

Harvey joins last year's winner Kate Garraway in the nominations, as well as Julia Bradbury for her Breast Cancer and Me story. Paddy and Christine McGuiness, who documented their journey with their children's autism and the late Tom Parker, star of The Wanted, who showed audiences how he and his family learned to live with his brain tumour diagnosis, are also in the running.
