A female NSW police officer has faced court charged with domestic violence offences.

The 45-year-old senior constable - attached to a specialist command - was arrested on Friday by officers from Sydney's North-West Metropolitan Region, accused of committing offences between May 2021 and July 2022.

She was charged with three counts of stalking and/or intimidation with the intention of causing fear of physical harm, two counts of breaching an AVO, two of using the post or a similar service to menace, harass or be offensive and attempting to breach a domestic AVO.

The officer appeared in Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday and was given conditional bail to appear before the same court on September 20.

Her employment status is under review.
