A NSW man has faced court charged with detaining and raping a girl in his care.
Police on Wednesday received reports that a 15-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted earlier that day by a man known to her.
The child abuse and sex crimes squad commenced an investigation and arrested a man shortly before midnight at a house in Goulburn.
The 69-year-old has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault and deprivation of liberty.
Police will allege in court the girl was in the care of the man when the assault took place.
The man was formally refused bail on Wednesday and is due back before Goulburn Local Court on March 16.
