Reigning premiers Penrith have re-signed the last uncontracted member of their 2022 grand-final team, Jaeman Salmon, as well as veteran forward Matt Eisenhuth.
Salmon mostly played off the bench this season, including in the 28-12 grand-final defeat of his former club Parramatta, and has signed a one-year contract for the 2023 season.
The 23-year-old also deputised at five-eighth when Jarome Luai suffered an MCL injury late in the season.
He could enjoy more time in the halves during next year's State of Origin period now Sean O'Sullivan has left the club.
Middle forward Eisenhuth told AAP on grand-final day he was confident of remaining with the Panthers next season. He has signed a two-year deal that will expire just after his 32nd birthday in 2024.
Despite playing a total of 35 games across 2021 and 2022, Eisenhuth missed out on selection in both of Penrith's grand-final victories but played in the NSW Cup team's grand final and state championship wins this year.
"On behalf of all at Panthers, I'd like to congratulate Matt and Jaeman on their new deals with the club," Panthers CEO Matt Cameron said.
"Matt and Jaeman have both played important roles for the club over the past two seasons, and I look forward to seeing them remain at Panthers."
