'Now he's a milkman' Brooklyn Beckham mocked as he poses for new ad campaign but his wife thinks it's 'sexy'

Brooklyn Beckham has has come under fire again as he posed for a new ad campaign. The aspiring chef sparked a big reaction as he posted his advert for Silk plant-based milk on his Instagram.

The ad features 23-year-old Brooklyn looking into the camera with a plant milk moustache, wearing a blue cow print patterned coat. Fans realised that his ad was a homage to his footballing legend dad David, who modelled for the iconic Got Milk? campaign encouraging the consumption of dairy products in 2006. However, others were not impressed.

"My wife actually asked me to keep it @silk Because Silk Nextmilk is a better stache. Who’s next?" he typed. And the look got his actress wife Nicola's approval. "Sexyyy," she commented.

But theonlylisap said: "Kind of cringing. Sorry." kizzmylipzz mocked: "Now his a milkman." quofar asked: "Brooklyn are you back to doing modeling now?" And skineadie exclaimed: "You’ll be doing life insurance ads next!"

Coope226 pointed out: "But he still cooks and eat meat. Surely this would be better promoted by someone who doesn't consume animal products." anaporto7 echoed: "It will be better if you were vegan." And cikkamontaigue said: "Would be great if you were actually vegan promoting this milk though."

But being_jade applauded: "This is awesome!!! Great campaign and love the nostalgia of the got milk campaign revamped. Been vegan for over 4 years and love seeing so much of it go mainstream!" And masondemay applauded: "This just gave me the biggest 'Got Milk?' throwback ever."

heath.stratford21 told him: "You nailed the advert!!" And lorlopgrams praised: "@brooklynpeltzbeckham thank you, this is what I call an influencer… please cook more vegetarian dishes! Thanks!"

Last year there were complaints after Brooklyn modelled vegan Superdry trainers after admitting in a cooking video that he eats steak up to three times a week. Brooklyn, who became the face of the clothing brand in 2021, took to Instagram to show off the new shoes with 'vegan' printed on the soles while encouraging people to lower their carbon footprint.

The snap showed him reclining topless on the sofa with a smile as he said: "@superdry vegan footwear. Coming soon. 24.01.22. Lower your fashion footprint." But followers said this was 'embarrassing' when just three days earlier Brooklyn shared a Cooking With Brooklyn video in which he invited a friend round while he cooked the seared meat.

And he told his fans: "I absolutely love steak. I eat steak quite a lot. Sometimes one a week, sometimes twice a week, sometimes three times a week."

Brooklyn said: "I love making it probably as much as I enjoy eating it." The eldest son of Manchester United star David and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham captioned the video: "Steak is one of my favorite dishes and this week I’ve decided to try and help Chase Hudson (@lilhuddy) cook up a New York strip of his own, but first I’m going to up my own steak game by visiting champion pit master, Adam Perry Lang."

suzanprimrose messaged: "Try cooking plánt base food now and I would be impressed." dancumby pointed out: "Geez you were cooking massive steaks the other day." But j_heaton85 defended: "The shoes are vegan!! Isn't the point that you can still reduce your carbon footprint even if you're not vegan!"

And joanneloughton wrote: "If you eat steak you are not 'not allowed' to wear vegan footwear! ahow about encouraging those who aren't vegan to begin with small changes in their lives such as their clothes as a start.... or maybe getting Brooklyn to do it encourages some people to start looking towards veganism... including him???"
