Novak Djokovic, the renowned tennis player, has made the decision to withdraw from the upcoming US Open tuneup tournament in Montreal. This comes following his recent victory over Rafael Nadal at the Paris Olympics, where he emerged victorious in straight sets at Roland Garros, advancing to the third round of the Summer Games.

The National Bank Open, an ATP Masters 1000 event scheduled to commence on August 6, was set to feature Djokovic. However, the tournament organizers confirmed his withdrawal from the competition.
