Novak Djokovic classily applauded Carlos Alcaraz after Australian Open upset

Carlos Alcaraz is out of the 2025 Australian Open, and it’s thanks to a legend.

Novak Djokovic was seeded seventh in the draw this year, and he faced Alcaraz — No. 3 in the tournament — in the quarterfinals at Rod Laver Arena.

But it was Djokovic who won in four sets, and as Alcaraz walked off after the loss, the crowd gave him a huge round of applause. That included Djokovic, as you’ll see.

Djokovic will face Alexander Zverev next in the semifinals on Friday. That should be something. In the meantime, here’s that classy moment from Tuesday’s quarterfinal that we all saw:
