HALIFAX — Health officials in Nova Scotia are today reporting another six deaths related to COVID-19 in the province.
The deaths occurred in the province's central, western and northern zones and involved a woman in her 60s, two women in their 70s, a woman and a man in their 80s and a man in his 90s.
Seven deaths due to the disease were reported Monday, and the total for the province sits at 182 deaths since the onset of the pandemic.
Officials also reported seven new hospital admissions and three discharges.
There are now 74 people in hospital receiving specialized care for COVID-19, including 11 in ICU.
Health officials estimate there are now 2,615 active cases in the province after 226 new lab-confirmed infections were reported.
