Notts County skipper Kyle Cameron is pleased with the positivity around the club, after welcoming new signings ahead of the new season.
The club has made several new signings as new head coach Luke Williams looks to shape his squad following his appointment. After a few training sessions with Williams, the Magpies put their training into practice against Basford United on Tuesday - coming out comfortable 5-1 winners in the friendly match.
Cameron believes that the group has gelled well together in a such a short period of time. He told Notts' club media: "Everyone's settled in well. Everyone's mixing in with each other, there's no one who's sort of flagging behind or staying sat down in a corner quietly, everybody's chipping in with a bit of banter here and there. Everybody seems to be mixing in really well."

The skipper, who featured for 45 minutes on Tuesday, scored one of the goals while also providing an assist. "Good start personally. I always like to get a goal as people know," he added. "Good performance, it's good to get a goal and an assist there."
With Ruben Rodrigues and Macaulay Langstaff set to play significant roles next season, they also got on the scoresheet. "It's important, they're going to be the main boys this year," Cameron added. "Also for them to get up running it's good, it's a confidence booster - it takes the weight off our shoulders a little bit.
"It just shows the recruitment we've had this summer has been very good and there could have been a lot more goals. We were always creating chances. As you can see there are a lot of things coming out early doors with the sessions we've had already with the gaffer, so philosophy and things he's trying to implement which is good as well."
