Notts County owners Christoffer and Alexander Reedtz have insisted that Macaulay Langstaff is not for sale this January but have not ruled out the possibility of an "extraordinary offer" prising away their star striker away from Meadow Lane in the future.
The 25-year-old has been in scintillating form for the Magpies this season, scoring 17 goals in the National League as Notts sit top the table after 17 games this season.
And during his first two months as a Notts player, Langstaff made history by becoming the first player in National League history to win back-to-back Player of the Month awards.

But with that form, comes obvious interest, with a number of clubs within the EFL already rumoured to be eyeing up a potential move for Langstaff during the January transfer window.
However, the Notts owners were quick to shut down any rumours not just surrounding Langstaff, but all of the players within their squad, with the Danish brothers expecting to finish the season with the players that they started with.
"We are expecting to finish the season with the players we currently have," said Alexander Reedtz.
"He is not for sale, but in football you can never rule out anything if there is an extraordinary offer, but we are not expecting to sell anyone this January."
At the end of the 2022/23 campaign, ten players will be out of contract at Meadow Lane including the likes of Ruben Rodrigues, Adam Chicksen, Kyle Cameron, and Matty Palmer.
With so many players able to leave Meadow Lane for free at the end of the season, there has been growing concerns surrounding the contract situations involving those players.
And whilst the brothers are keen to focus on what is happening on the pitch as they prepare for another testing away trip to Southend on Tuesday evening, they clarified that contracts are being looked at this moment in time.
"We are always reviewing the contract stages of all players," explained Christoffer Reedtz.
"We try and be as well prepared as best that we can for the summer. Of course, right now we are solely focused about the performances on the pitch, but it is something we are continually looking at."
