Notts County striker Lewis Knight has returned to former club Bradford Park Avenue on loan for the remainder of the season.
Knight joined the Magpies from the Yorkshire outfit in March 2021 for a nominal fee, having scored 11 goals in 15 appearances for them last term.
The 23-year-old made eight appearances for Notts in 2020-21 but suffered a hamstring injury in pre-season ahead of the current campaign and was then injured again on his return to first-team action in October.
Now he will link back up with his old team, who are currently 18th in the National League North table.
The Magpies said in a statement: "Knight, who will continue to regularly train with us due to Bradford Park Avenue being part-time, has worked hard to regain his fitness and will now hope to fire his former club away from the National League North relegation zone."
Notts, meanwhile, are due to be back in league action on Tuesday evening, away to Wealdstone (7.45pm kick-off).
Burchnall's men will be looking to maintain their promotion push after their home match against Barnet was postponed on Friday due to a combination of Covid cases and injuries in the visitors' squad.
While the Magpies are seventh in the table, six points off the top with games in hand, Wealdstone are fourth from bottom following their 2-0 defeat to Woking at the weekend.
The Stones have only managed one win in their previous seven games, while Notts have won six in a row and are unbeaten since November.
The hosts have no fresh injury concerns, though Rhys Browne and Andrew Eleftheriou remain sidelined.
David Sesay has returned from the Africa Cup of Nations with Sierra Leone but will not be available until the weekend due to isolation rules.
Looking ahead to the Notts game at The Vale, Wealdstone manager Stuart Maynard told the club's official website: "We need the fans support more than ever, they're a top, top team and we gave them a real game when we up there and were probably on the wrong end of the result when we went up there, but it is a results-based business and we've got to make sure that we bounce back and put a positive performance in for the fans.
"I'm sure the fans will come out in their numbers and support us as they have done all season.
"We're going to have difficult periods in this league and results and difficult performances and the first half performance against Woking was one of those, but credit to the fans they stuck by us throughout and supported us.
"When you look at the league table now a lot of the teams at the top have hit form and you're very rarely seeing shock results at the moment, I think Maidenhead beating Chesterfield last week being the only exception.
"The top teams are starting to find their gears now and they're winning consistently.
"When you look at some of the squads they've got, these teams have got League Two at a push League One squads so you expect them to do well.
"You need a lot of luck on the evening against these sides, you need to take your chances because they restrict your chances. You need to defend for your lives, you need luck in your own box with blocks and the goalie making saves and that's what you need in these big games.
"It's like a cup match!"
