Nottinghamshire shoppers flock to Aldi for Prime Hydration

Shoppers flocked to Aldi stores across Nottinghamshire to pick up bottles the highly-sought after Prime Hydration Drink after it went back on sale. The drink, by YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul, returned to Aldi supermarkets nationwide this morning, (Tuesday April 18).

It is available to buy for £.1.99 and is a Specialbuy, meaning once they’re gone, they’re gone. There were queues for the energy drink in Stapleford, however they quickly subsided once the store was open.

In Daybrook, a small group waited to be let in, where they could choose from six different flavours. Among them was Carole Marshall, who picked up four bottles of Prime for her grandchildren as a surprise.

"I'm off to pick them up now," she said. "I thought there'd be more of a queue."

Layla and Riley O'Neil, aged 11 and 10, also came to Aldi for 8am to pick up one of each flavour of Prime just before school. Their mum, who didn't wish to be named, said: "I've brought them just before school for a treat.

"I won't pay ridiculous prices for them but we've come out a bit early for them today. I thought there would be a queue like last time."
