Nottinghamshire's Sundown Adventureland to reopen for February half-term

A popular Nottinghamshire family theme park for under-10s is set to reopen its doors for the February half-term following its winter break. Sundown Adventureland, located on Treswell Roadd, Rampton, will be back open again on February 11 along with its holiday village, Wild Acre Village.

It will also be the first opportunity for many people to see the Four Seasons Arena, a newly-built indoor facility which opened during the festive season. During the half-term, the park will be open with activities including Crash Landings indoor play area, Monkey Mayhem Driving School, the Okie Yolkie Ride and Lollipoppet Castle, reports Lincolnshire Live.

Debora Griffin, director at Sundown Adventureland, said: "Even though we've been closed to guests for the last month, our team has been busy behind the scenes ensuring Sundown is ready to help families make another epic year of special memories. Last year was really exciting with the opening of the arena and the lodges at Wild Acre Village.

"This year is all about ensuring guests enjoy our newest facilities, diversifying our offering and providing the ultimate guest experience. For anybody staying at Wild Acre Village, which also reopens for the February half-term, we're extending our generous offer of free park tickets for the duration of the stay - even on check-out day."

She added: "With an on-site bistro at Crashing Landings serving family favourites, Sundown has everything you need to create the ultimate winter adventure." The park said there will be places for warm shelter against the cold weather where families can go for their lunches and meet Sundown characters.

It will reopen on from 10am until 4pm on February 11. Tickets are £22 for adults or children over 90cm, with children under 90cm going free.

Discounts are available for disabled guests, carers, wheelchair users, over-65s and blue light card holders. Family tickets are also available, starting from £58.50.
