Hundreds of residents in a Nottinghamshire town have received letters from police after a large knife was recovered from a park. The Ashfield Police team says 200 residents in the Hucknall North and Hucknall Central areas received the letters on Friday (February 10).
The letters cover the reporting of issues such as drug dealing and anti-social behaviour to police after a number of concerns were raised by residents. It comes after the Hucknall neighbourhood policing team recovered a knife from The Ranges Park area on Thursday (February 9).

The recovery was made during foot patrols around areas including Cheyne Walk, Linby Walk and Carlingford Road. The neighbourhood policing team said: "This was after numerous reports were made by residents, of drug activity in the areas mentioned above.
"Thank you to residents for reporting in about the issues. Please continue to report any incidents to 101, 999 in emergency or via email."
